My goal is to make sure you are over the top happy with your purchase. I started making these items because of the joy it brings to see something so special made just for you, but if you are not 100% satisfied with the item, I haven't accomplished my goal. Merritt's Mementos is a home based business located in Alpharetta,Georgia. If you live in or near Alparetta, GA you are more than welcome to come here and pick up your order to avoid shipping costs (enter PickUp in the voucher section during checkout and shipping charges will be deleted). We are not trying to make money on shipping - we try to charge exactly what it will cost us to mail.

Any information that you submit to Merritt's Mementos will not be sold or otherwise released to a third party. All personal information collected during the shopping experience is used to fulfill your order or advise you of the status of your order. If you have any concerns or questions please contact us via email or by phone.

Cancellation Policy

Merritt's Mementos works to ship your custom-made and personalized purchases as quickly as possible. For this reason, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to cancel your order after it has been placed unless you contact me immediately. If you need to cancel your order please e-mail us the same business day or call us at 678-772-6225 and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Return Policy

Our goal is for you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not happy with the quality of the product you purchased, we will glady except your return with a full refund to you (minus the shipping cost). In order to accept the return, you must contact us within 48 hours of receipt of the item and let us know why you are unhappy with it. Then we need to receive the unused merchandise in it's original condition within 2 weeks of the return notification date. Upon our receipt of the returned item, we will credit you back your purchase price. Please note Shipping and handling fees are not refundable unless the item was damaged during shipping. Re-shipping charges for exchanges will be applied unless the exchange is due to an error on our part.

Unfortuantely, we are not able to accept returns of items that have been embroidered with incorrect text due to the customer's mistake. If the mistake was on our end, we will ship a new (correctly personalized) item within 24 hours of the time we were notified of our mistake.

Please Include your name, address, email address, reason for return, order number (if you have it) and a request for either a refund or exchange. Refunds can only be credited back to the card used to make the original purchase. Within two weeks of receipt of your return we will process either your refund or store credit. Information about how to redeem your store credit will be emailed to you.

Payment Options

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Payment is processed at the time your order is shipped. Once your order is shipped, we will e-mail you a paid invoice confirming when & where the order was shipped. Since the majority of our orders are sent as gifts, we do not include a copy of the paid invoice with the order.

Sales Tax

Merritt's Mementos collects 7% sales tax on products picked up at our home based location in Alphretta, GA and we charge the appropriate GA State Tax rate to other locations in GA where orders are shipped.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise agreed upon. On the day your order ships you will receive an email from us with a paid invoice attached to it.

Product Availability

Occasionally, high demand causes us to run out of certain items before we can update our website. If we do not have an item that you've ordered in stock, we will contact you via email. Because we do not charge your credit card until we ship your order, charges for out-of-stock items will not appear on your bill.
